We need a Training Specialist to

  • communicate with and effectively train employees at every level of our operations
  • develop, plan, organize, and facilitate training functions throughout the Multi-family Residential Portfolio

This is a salaried Exempt position based in our corporate offices in Pompano Beach, Florida that will support training objectives for teams that will directly impact and improve on our Property Management operations.

You'll utilize innovative technologies to connect with employees remotely, however our portfolio ranges throughout the US and this role may require up to 15% of travel each quarter.

A few of your responsibilities

  • Build and distribute training schedule, and establish priorities tied to strategic organizational needs and plans for the residential portfolio
  • Develop methods to transfer information and techniques from the training sessions to actual on-the-job performance
  • Handle and implement transitional training associated with the acquisition of properties
  • Organize, coordinate and ensure employee participation in area specific training sessions
  • Maintain the Learning Management Software's training resource files and participant attendance records
  • Develop and implement customized training as requested by upper management
  • Remain informed of trends in the apartment industry and in the training and development fields

Experience and strengths you'll need

  • 2-4 years training experience; with direct experience maintaining an LMS, hosting onsite and remote trainings, and developing learning objectives to meet the needs of operations (learning new software, refreshing on SOPs or establishing new policies)
  • Wonderful communication and presentation skills to effectively connect with different audiences; meet our employees where they are and achieve learning objectives effectively to support their success
  • Contextual background via direct Multi-family experience with onsite operations including experience working in Class A markets and property management software such as Yardi Voyager, Yardi Rent Café, etc
  • Ability to learn and a strong computer literacy
  • Passport and ability to travel to Canada is required
  • College degree preferred; a professional designation such as ATD or other Certified Training Programs are a plus.
