Full-Time Personal Lines Broker/Customer Service Representative (CSR)
Location: Newmarket, ON Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Salary: Commensurates with experience Benefits: Available at a shared cost with the employee
Job Overview:
Our client, located in Newmarket, is seeking a Full-time Personal Lines Broker/CSR to join their team. This is an in-office position with working hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing excellent customer service to existing policyholders and must hold a RIBO license in good standing.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional customer service to policyholders by responding to inquiries
Provide guidance on insurance products, conduct renewal reviews, process endorsements, and handle new submissions
Follow up promptly with client requests and ensure timely service delivery
Accurately input and manage client data within the broker management system
Document claims and manage the claims resolution process
Stay updated on industry practices and underwriting guidelines
Communicate professionally and effectively with underwriters
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in Personal Lines Insurance Customer Service
Proficiency with insurance industry software, including Applied Rating Services (quoting system)
Knowledge of Powerbroker (Broker Management System)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
