Position: Business Development Specialist for Wall & Below Grade Products
Location: Kent or Lynnwood, WA (negotiable)

Job Description
The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for prospecting for potential customers in the Puget Sound and Pacific Northwest US region through architectural firms, specification writers, consultants and building contractors, and for recognizing opportunities that will result in sales.

The position is requires someone very comfortable meeting new people as social interaction and influencing people is a major portion of the work responsibility. The successful candidate must possess a very persuasive, selling style and a high degree of optimism with established customers, prospects and  team members.

The position requires a great deal of ingenuity, creativity in the demonstration and sale of new products or services, innovative thoughts and ideas, which will contribute to the development of new business with existing customers and new prospects. The successful candidate will use a great deal of abstract reasoning, free-thinking, and multidimensional thinking in making decisions.

This individual must have a temperament to work with routine or repetitive activities, however, he/she must also need to be responsive to disruption and change.

Job Responsibilities
• Create and deliver presentations to prospective customers
• Research, evaluate and present new products and services to potential and existing customers
• Be the technical expert for all Wall & Below Grade products that we sells
• Deliver Wall & Below Grade training to other  employees in your designated region; be the “go to person” for any issues or questions
• Liaise with vendors
• Focus on the entire process of Wall & Below Grade building from beginning to end, introducing innovation into the process that can impact results, enhance profitability and assist the organization to meet its business objectives and goals
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; attending industry functions
• Contribute information and feedback on upcoming market trends
